REFREE.....REFREE...REFREE.....WHY?? WHY?? |
|
The Argentinian midfielder would normally be banned for just one match after being shown two yellow cards but that may be increased depending on how the Football Association view his furious reaction to being sent-off for dissent as he attempted to speak to Bennett about his decision to book Fernando Torres.
Mascherano had to be dragged away by Xabi Alonso and the Liverpool coach Alex Miller before Reds manager Rafael Benitez tried to calm him.
Benitez refused to attempt to second guess what fate is in store for Mascherano, saying: "The player was asking. I don't think that to ask is a big problem. He doesn't know the referees."
Following the debate that has raged since Ashley Cole's dissent in Chelsea's 4-4 draw with Tottenham in midweek, Benitez acknowledged that Mascherano was wrong to attempt to discuss anything with a referee in the current climate.
The Spaniard added: "The player told me that he was asking what happened and to get sent-off for that made him really, really surprised.
"He could not understand why. The player knows he made a mistake but in this kind of game it is wrong to leave a team with just 10 players because one of them asked 'why?'.
"It is clear that he knows he made a mistake. I talked to him in Spanish on the line and he told me he didn't say anything and that he was just acting.
"Mascherano is a fantastic professional and has been playing at the maximum level for years and I was trying to tell him 'it's finished'.
"All of my people are disappointed and no-one is more disappointed than me. We had our chances but with 10 players it's just 'forget it'," Benitez added. "I think that when you are a professional and play a big game like this you are surprised and want to know why you are sent-off.
"Mascherano was trying to work really hard, like everyone else, and we are disappointed with what happened."

Cold War LCF & Man Utd |
|
Assalamualaikum.
hahaha! finally, the football debaters are here! i waited for two days for ur post here. Only now i got informed that Liverpool lose to Man U 3-0. Huhuhuhu klambatan bh aku ah. No astro at home actually. Congratez to Man Utd and cheers to the fans. To Liverpool fans, all i can say is there is always a winner and a losser in a game. It seems like Liverpool is the loser now. I read one of the posts here, he used to support Liverpool but now he tends to support Man U just because Liverpool lose. Hahaha. It happens sometimes. I quote this from a movie Independence Day. The president said, "You'r a traitor". hahahha. Napalah. Skali skla. Next match, klu Liverpool manang join balik hehehe.
there are some funny words used by the debaters. its LIVERPOOL but then they spell it like liverfool, libapul etc etc. Makes me laugh. Oh men u guys are really good in mngucap2, very agressive making Liverpool sounds foolish. But hey, dont get me wrong. Im not on Man Utd's side. Its just so funny people hve these funny ideas just to bring down the opponent and makes the fans go mental.
Congrates again to the winner. To the fans esp the debaters, kep up the good work. post more n more coz i just love reading them.
Ciao!

Readathon |
|
I agree with the comments, I myself, as a teacher, still am unable to understand what the main points of READATHON are. In my mind, Readathon is some kind of a reading competition thing, but then, we were INSTRUCTED to prepare out of the mind Teaching Aids, yang kalau in actual classes, inda jua bepakai, and then INSTRUCTED to usai the booths on Fridays, then come in the afternoons after mengajar, sampai 4.30 and even later, then come again on Sundays, to JAGA the booth.
It's frustrating how the GBs are competing among themselves to get the honour of 'sapa paling handal mengarah guru-guru bawahan mereka' sama jua dengan Guru-guru kanan sesetengah sekolah, pinta bermacam-macam, ideas punyalah meluas, mengerajakan, guru-guru bawahan, kalau nda sama dengan imaginasi bisdia, DIMARAHI guru-guru atu. I am a Primary 6 teacher, and to be honest, since Readathon ani, I haven't had the time to properly teach my pupils, asal kan mengajar, ada-ada saja kana suruh, inda oleh GB, oleh Guru-Guru Kanan. What do you get from that type of attitude? Fikirkan tah, sudah pencen nanti, you are nothing. Inda kamu yang susah, anak-anak kamu nanti tekana.
So please, para penganjur, GB-GB, please quit your nonsense and let the teachers under you do what they're supposed to do, TEACH, not promote the unnecessary. Jangan kan mau nama saja, if you want to dapat nama, dapat honour or what so ever it is that you want to reach, do it by not sacrificing the times of the teachers under you. Kesian kami ani, kami pun ada keluarga, ada ibubapa, ada isteri, anak , etc. Fridays and Sundays adalah hari keluarga. Zaman Rasulullah dulu pun nada ia INSTRUCT orang-orang keraja sampai 7 kali seminggu & melebihi had waktu.
Oh, sebelum post ani kana attack, I and my fellow colleagues have tried talking and discussing with our GB ni ah. but then he chose not to listen to orang-orang bawahan ani, mungkin sebab kami ani guru, jauh taraf kami ani kali perasannya daripada kedia. So, sorry, ani saja tah dapat saya buat, meluahkan ketidakpuasan hati di ruangan ani.
Sekian, Wassalam.

re: engineering teachers |

REPLY - Teacher
Teacher:
postgraduates not initially trained to become a teacher actually have to take up PGCE.. meaning they have a total of 5 years of studying. 4years of subject content + 1 year of education courses. not that much difference with those already in the teaching programe; they also do 1 year of education courses but only 3 years of subject content. i think. those doing engineering courses will teach physics. biologists will teach bio and etc etc.. not mismatched at all.
------------------------------------------------
may i ask you PEOPLE some simple questions, do you REALLY wanted to be a TEACHER in the first place when you took your engineering degree? OR you were expecting OR hoping to work at an engineering-oriented sectors like JKR or SHELL etc that suits your qualifications, OR being a teacher was a LAST attempt for SALVATION!
if you wanted to be a teacher in the first place, or your AMBITION was to be a teacher, then why took engineering courses? and WHAT IS YOUR TRUE AMBITION?
today, being or ended up as a teacher was a LAST RESORT for graduates if they got STUMPED (cricket term), well, some but NOT ALL!

========================
Relax bro.. don’t get yourself all worked out.haha. im merely pointing out that an engineering student becoming a physics teacher is not 'a mismatched occupation'. Okey..here’s my answer to your simple question – honestly speaking, before pursuing my degree I have no specific target in mind coz im very much aware of the job scarcity here in brunei. So all I have in mind was to study what I love the most; physics and maths. And ALSO, i studied engineering because I know later on I will have the option to choose whether I want to become an engineer or a teacher. Its only during my final year that I decided to pursue a career as a teacher, or a lecturer (insyaallah). I didn’t even try to look for any engineering vacancy when I got back from UK so, no..its not my last attempt of salvation. As a matter of fact, all the PGCE students i know came back from UK and head straight to teaching.

Industrial Progress |
|
Assume that our oil resources are large; assume that we are going to have oil for 120 more years. Still that does not mean that we Bruneians should still go on living the way we have been living.
I mean our philosophy(given below) is wrong and self-destructive: That is, let all us be consumers and let the producers be non-natives, foreign owned, let the bankers, big corporations, construction firms, large hyper stores, and service providers be who cares who owns. What we need is efficient and expensive service because we have the money and we have to spend it.
This is what has been done in countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and oil rich Middle East. They have big reserves of oil. The question is not one of continuity of oil supply. The question is when we are going to learn to be advanced industrially and self-sufficient like the Industrial countries of the West.
Thousands of people who have been to Haj know that Ihram cloth made in China, Taiwan and Korea are sold in almost all the shops in Saudi Arabia. Is it impossible for Muslim countries like Indonesia, Egypt, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Malaysia and many others to learn to make ihram cloth and stop buying such an important item from non-Muslim countries for a sacred duty (Haj). This is my point. When are we going to learn to make. Forget about the high cost. We have to learn to make things, so that one day in future we will be in par with advanced countries in the production of everything that our people need.
There must be greater industrial and technological co-operation between Muslim countries. Rich Muslim countries should invest part of their foreign exchange in developing industries in poor Muslim countries. But what we do now is leaving all our savings in the hands of foreign banks which make use of our resources to develop their economies, and in the process we remain zero in industrial and business skills.
